Our Clinic

Red River Women's Clinic is located in north Moorhead off of Highway 75 N. Some GPS services may direct you across the street, we are across the highway from the Moorhead Public Service building. We are on the EAST side of Highway 75 N.

You may notice protesters standing on the sidewalk or near the driveway. They are not allowed into our private parking lot. Keep your windows rolled up, do not stop when driving into the lot and find a parking spot. Our volunteer escorts, who wear rainbow vests, will help you find the Main Entrance and offer you support as you enter.

Our convenient location offers free, plentiful parking and anonymous entry into our warm and attractive offices. Our highly experienced and well-trained staff provide comfort, support and understanding along with the highest quality medical services.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️Red River Women’s Clinic is an ally to our LGBTQIA+ patients. We will use your preferred name when addressing you (we may need your legal name for insurance purposes). We ask all of our patients for their pronouns and want to be respectful to all patients needing our care, regardless of how they identify. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Clinic Tour

Here are some pictures of our clinic so that when you arrive you know which building is ours. Look for the 302 Hwy 75 North “Office Complex” sign - the driveway is just beyond the sign off of 3rd Ave North.

Enter the clinic through the middle door marked “Main Entrance”. A volunteer escort will ask you for your first name and let you into our secure entrance. You will then proceed to our Suite door where you be asked for your first name after you enter.

Our patients’ security and confidentiality are of greatest importance to us. All of our patient records are confidential.

Due to space constraints, we are limiting entrance into our building to patients only. Your support person, family member or friend will need to wait outside for you. Our amazing escorts can provide a map of the area & things to do while they wait.

Waiting Room

Patient Education Room

Each patient meets one-on-one with a Patient Advocate to discuss: their decision, support system, birth control options and to answer any questions they might have.

Each patient has an ultrasound done on the day of their abortion. This limited ultrasound is to determine that the pregnancy is in your uterus and within our gestational limits.

Ultrasound Room

Each patient who has a procedure abortion will receive some medications and then wait in a comfortable seating area. These medications include an antibiotic, ibuprofen and the optional mild sedation medication(s).

Ready Room

Recovery Room

Procedure abortion patients will spend some time in our Recovery Room. Here they will be monitored by a nurse and sent home when they meet the discharge criteria.

“I felt very welcomed by your staff every step of the way. Thank you for that.”
